Health(+)Care 2050

April 30-May 1 @ UC Berkeley School of Public Health

Health(+)Care 2050: Let's imagine something better.

We will immerse in and co-create the future of:

  • Healthy Living

  • Experiences of Care

  • Health Economics

  • Tech that Heals

  • Human Connection

Millions of people lost their healthcare insurance this past year.  Millions more have healthcare insurance, but can’t afford to use it. And millions and millions more experience a broken system that makes them work too hard to just get care.  Being healthy as an individual or community is fast becoming a luxury.  Health facts are a confusing jumble of misinformation and mistrust. And those on the front lines of care, public health, and community are working harder than ever, often resorting to heroics to “get the job done.”

The system is broken.

What if we challenged the basic underpinnings?
What if we stopped shrugging and started building?
What if we unlocked our collective wisdom?

Since 2024, Dignified Futures has been assembling a mighty group of futurists, systems thinkers, designers, and anyone else who gives a damn about health, healthcare, and social impact. Our 2027 gathering will assemble this powerful community to focus its wisdom and talent on a future we can be excited for.

2024 Conference: Songs for Social Justice

At the 2024 conference in Boston, we were joined by students from Berklee School of Music as they performed songs and poetry on health topics and gave us a strong reminder why we do the work we do.
